It is a real duck, but it's called a Wood Duck because they nest in trees. I believe they are the only Duck to do so. Sorry if I mislead you.

I managed to get a few good ones that day. Harsh light, polorizer, broken sun, made it difficult to get a good overall exposure. I wanted so badly to get a shot sitting in a tree, but all the shots needed too much post production work to bother. Washed out highlights or lost shadows.
