Ella is upset because she wishes to accept her step dad but still something in her and the way she sees him makes her think it's a bad idea. She wishes she could make up her mind and be happy about it, at least for her mum's sake. In some way, she has not really gotten over what happened to her actual dad.

I was meant to be post a happy picture today to celebrate my mum coming on holiday but something truly awful has happened this week - my great granny has got Co-vid and my dear dog, Harley had to stay overnight in a vet after something terrible has left him unable to stand up. He was so worried and scared, my family and I had to go overnight to a vet to get him the best help we knew and now, we're stuck not knowing what's going to happen next, it's awful not knowing.
