Each full moon of the month has its own name and qualities. June bears the “Lover’s Moon” and brings with it energy for love, marriage and success. I wanted this illustration to embody the spirit of romance and timeless love. My inspiration for the Crescent Moon’s attire was heavily drawn from a Victorian Masquerade theme. A very pretty fairy casually plucks petals from a flower while contemplating “He loves me, He loves me not….” as the moon looks on with anticipation and intrigue.Available for purchase in my Etsy shop: [link]
