Since Frazetta Girls couldn't wait to put it up on their Facebook page, I figured I might as well go ahead and upload it here! Frazetta Girls, run by Frank's daughters Holly and Heidi, got in touch with me about doing another shirt for them, this time featuring The Death Dealer! I really wanted something that captured the menace and the mystery of the character in very simple terms. Something that would speak softly but carry a big stick! I knew I wanted to do a draft of him outlined just in red with an emphasis on the shadows, but it was realizing I wanted the shield as a centerpiece that made this come together. A lot of artists forget about the shield.

With all the reds I didn't want it to be too bloody since that's not a Frank Frazetta thing. I also wanted the silhouette of the axe to read clearly too. I also didn't include his ear ring thing which sits off to the side of his helmet on his right... not that you can tell with all the red brush strokes and spattering around him.
