Riding piggy back on an unstoppable juggernaut is a good position for a wizard, really.My goodness! Is that startled young man the gun toting wizard of legend?? Is he also Uriel, of the Fae?? The short answer is yes. I don't feel like getting into it right now. Its all for an epic I'm stewing up. Its going to be rad.
I wanted to exercise my current obsession with wizards and faeries while playing around with texture overlays. Being the first faerie I've ever drawn, I felt it had to be the MOST MACHO FAERIE IN EXISTENCE. Also, I fancy the idea of wooden armor that can withstand CANNON SHOTS. Oh, and flanged maces scare the shit out of me. Nasty, awful weapon.
I've been working on this thing since saturday, I think. It has been one of the most difficult things its ever been my displeasure to draw. I like how it came out though ;o

Thanks, this is like my second or third time trying texture overlays. They're pretty neat and not hard to use. Its planning and linework that are the the most difficult. Lighting is fairly easy for me but it takes a long time

Lighting is my greatest bane. I understand how it works, but keeping it in mind the whole time is difficult for me. Anyway, Kudos!
