Fillis infiltrated the ship to use a grenade on it. A whale emerged from the depths at the moment she tried to escape. She decided that it is safer on the ship, just a few moments before the detonation sends her flying overboard.
She survived thanks to the help of another ReTaker, who got her out of the water and finally explained her, that whales are big, but totally harmless.
