Age 737, several days after the destruction of Planet Vegeta and the near extinction of the Saiyans. Zarbon, one of the highest ranked Generals of the Frieza Force, sent out a crew of elite soldiers to the Planet Ratarte. A group of five young Saiyans, who had the order to eleminate Ratarte's inhabitants, haven't responded to the order to retreat to Planet Vegeta, so the four-headed crew, led by the daring warrior Morel, was sent to the Planet for reconnaissance.
There they found the flying cities, for which this planet is known, still intact hovering in the sky. Using their scouters, Morel and his men detected two strong individuals with a higher power level than the inhabitants of Ratarte. Finally they met two Saiyans, the twins Calash and Bala. The kids thought they would've been the reinforcement they've asked for, before their own scouters as well as their spaceship got destroyed by the weapons of Planet Ratarte.
