It's not Illustrator, just "traditional" digital graphism. I tend to find Illustrator to be a little "cold" and flat. I do appreciate the neat aspect of what's done with it, but it has a "mechanical", artificial touch, too, IMO. The classic digital graphism, if such a thing exists, retains a certain unperfection that I see as somehow closer to traditional media, pens and paper, that is, and thus more appropriate to retro, vintage style pieces. Hope this makes sense...
