sorry for the lame christmas gift, I just didn't have the time to work on anything better. actually I wanted to post something else as this year's christmas gift, but eh, no time.I think I heard fireworks in a dream a few days ago, I woke up but refused to go back to sleep because I wanted to hear the fireworks AGAIN. >___>; and that's when I worked on this pic.
the scanner killed it, lots of editing done to it. and the person I was going to give it to is out of town NOOOO. bah, by the time they come back this'll be so out of season. T_T
so uh.. yeah.
drew it on crappy printing paper, the inking was done with my bic pens (they're all dead now) and the coloring with faber castell color pencils.

the first few months I was on the site I posted a lot of traditional work (I've scrapped, deleted and put on storage most of it. I regret doing that now). lately I just hadn't posted any because I had no working scanner.
I have more traditional ball-point pieces to post. x.x; someday.

i think your style looks adorable both ways, but i'm a little biased towards the traditional means of doing things. i guess it's because i can't fully comprehend the work that goes into digital, seeing as i rarely / never do it. when i do, it's just dinky little illustrator things. nothing major, like colour blending and things of that ilk.
