How to make a Europa:

1. For the base, use an iron core (molten or solid)

2. Add a generous amount of silicates and distribute them evenly.

3. Now's the time to add a large body of water onto the young moon - if you're lucky, it will develop a combination of solid and liquid H2O layers.

4. Rest for a few million years - a crust made up of solid H2O will develop, occasionally broken up by hydrotectonic forces.

5. Spray a pinch of iron-rich silicates - they give the young moon the reddish hue.

Here you have it - a Europa!
