HUNG BOY FOUND IN HAUNTED HOUSE!

Jerome looked at the headlines, confused.

"Hung boy?" He thought to himself.

The bacca picked up the phone and dialed Mitch's number.

He didn't pick up.

"Hmm..." Jerome muttered, confused.

"Why didn't he pick up?"

Jerome called again.

Still nothing.

"I think I should go check on him.."

Jerome left his house and headed towards Mitch's, only to find that there were people packing up his things.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" Jerome demanded. "My friend lives here!"

The workers gave him a weary glance but kept cleaning up.

One of them pointed to part of the new article.

"The boy was identified as Mitch Hughes, also known as 'Bajan Canadian' to his fans. The cause of death was suicide by hanging." Jerome read outloud, dropping the paper.

"No...That can't be.."

He ran to the Haunted house he and Mitch had visited since they were kids to see that there were police surrounding the area, blocking it off from the public. Jerome craned his neck, trying to looking inside the place, only to get turned around by one of the officers.

Casting one last glance at the house that his friend had taken his own life in, he saw some people take out a black body bag.

Jerome covered his mouth and slugged his way back home.

It was at the end of summer. Mitch had died at the beginning.

Jerome had felt empty ever since he found out about what had happened before, shutting himself away from all the others.

He had spent his time slouching and sulking and mourning the loss of his best friend, his crush, the person he had planned on spending the rest of his life with.

He looked outside to see the sun shining high in the azure sky.

Sighing, he dragged himself out of bed and out the room, down into the kitchen.

He grabbed an apple on his way out, heading in no particular direction.

He just wanted out.

Meandering along, he somehow found himself infront of the old Haunted House.

The same one where Mitch had hanged himself.

Gulping and putting the apple away, he slowly crept past the fence and into the building, flinching as he stepped up the stairs and stood at the front doors.

"Why am i doing this.." he asked himself before pushing open the doors.

Coughing as a dust cloud emerged, Jerome crept into the place, looking around.

It looked exactly like how he remembered it.

Going into the main foyer and taking a right, he wandered down one of the halls and heard someone choking back a sob.

Confused, the bacca looked around only to find himself alone.

Slowly getting suspicious, he kept walking until he heard the noise again, this time louder.

"H-Hello?" Jerome mustered up the courage to call outloud.

Infront of him appeared his long lost friend Mitch, looking exactly the way he did when he died.

Only, his legs were gone.

"This is goodbye, biggums.." the ghost whispered, tears falling from his face. He waved to his friend one last time before disappearing completely.

"B...Biggums..?" Jerome choked, tears flooding his eyes. "W-Where are you going? What's going on?"

There was no one there but him.

Oh dear god

I gotta thank Citrus for the idea; she told me about a song that had a similar plot line as this

Oh, and just to clearify something; the ghost Mitch was only able to live/stay at the place because the story was in the headlines. As time went on, the story was replaced with other ones, and he was soon forgotten. Hence why he vanished completely at the end.

And god i hate drawing Mitch's hoodie ;w; XD
