Description These are other characters in the story:
The girl is a thief. Her appearence and personality are completely different and she disguises it well.
Her friend does not have a definite shape and he is not an animal. He doesn't even know who he is or where he come from, but doesn't matter for him or her.
He just not uses costumes because everybody are staring him , is also because he likes costumes

At this moment they are robbing a candy shop at dawn ( that why the title is good morning) and his costume is of a white rabbit
I have not decided their names yet!
It's so hard...

ohhh i seee well smackjeeves is a awesome site. most of the manga artists from dA publish their manga there. -> [link]
Smackjeeves is for webmanga in specific.

Then there's Tokyopop which is a company that publishes manga from japan. They translate them into english and send them to barnes and nobles and stuff for people to read. basically like shounen jump, shoujo beat, viz, and other manga publishing companies. however, unlike the others, Tokyopop supports manga from all over the world. France, Germany, Europe, Canada, America, anywhere. They seek talent in making manga outside of Japan as well and then publishes them. Tokyopop has its own official site where you can upload your manga for people to read. If it gets really popular and the admins take notice of it, it can lead to having your manga promoted and maybe even published. ^^ -> [link]

But still, most dA'artists use smackjeeves. They're both very good. But I guess tokyopop = makes me nervous
because of some of the pressure people have to get their work published. but if you just wanna upload it there for fun then it's fine.

Smackjeeves is a better community though, it;s a lot of fun and the readers are very kind, supportive, and interactive. So it's a better place to start in my opinion.

Another site you can try is TheOtaku. It's another popular site with lots of members. They also allow you to upload manga there as well -> [link]

Of course, you could always just upload the manga page by page on deviantArt, but some people avoid doing that cuz it floods the gallery. @-@ But if you can make the manga into like a flash reading manga like this -> [link]
Basically combines all the pages into like a interactive flash instead.

But if you don't want to deal with either, then you could just try the Smackjeeves or the other sites I gave you. :3 Hope it helps.
And I'm trying to start my own manga as well but I'm kinda nervous. >A<
Still, as a new yr goal for 2011, even if it comes out looking dumb, I'm just gonna try it. .-. );

Oh! These sites that you shown me, are really good!
How did you know about all this stuff? xD
you're otaku? because you know a lot of things!

that smackjeeves looks like very cool, but I don't have any manga finished xD
and I think that is early to me, I thing that is something missing me...for continue the story ... hmmmm >3<
but if one day I start to finish and publish my works, it will be on smackjeeves ;D
but this tokyopop is very interesting too!
hahah that it make me really nervous too! XD

Wow! I have already read this manga! the drawing is awesome! *_*

Thanks a lot! helped me a lot! ;D
Besides that, inspired me to do more chapter of the manga \o/

Ahh you have a manga too?
how is the story?
you really have to try, and it not will be dumb

yes i'm otaku XD LOLZ I've been into anime since 1st grade. And for all the past years I've constantly been into it heavily. I mean, I don't cosplay or anything and I don't collect figurines, but other than that you can call me otaku XD wahahahahahahahahaha

All those sites I found them over the years. Tokyopop, I've known it for a long time, because several years back, they began releasing this series to the bookstores called "Rising Stars". It's where people from all over the world submit their manga to the company and the best ones are selected and published into a joint preview book called "Rising Stars". So after that, I went to tokyopop's site and found out that you can upload manga to the site directly X3 and stuff. And even if it's not sent to "Rising Stars" sometimes they just publish it directly and have its official release.

TheOtaku = a friend introduced me
Smackjeeves = a friend on dA who makes manga introduced it to me XD

I'm glad it helped

LOL it's been that way for me too, I keep feeling like something's missing, but as of late I realized that it might not be so much my story but my personal art that I am no comfortable with yet to start a manga seriously. xD But I am definitely getting myself ready for it because I feel I'm 20 yrs old and I have intermediate lvl knowledge in art. >A< i should at least give it a try. so ima do my best <3

Yep, I have plenty of stories. I'm actually trying to pick which one I wanna start first >3< Because I feel somewhere in my gut, that my 1st one won't be my best. But at the same time I wanna give the best of what I can do right now. LOL conflicting emotions. But I decided that the best way for an artist to do something is to do it when they feel like it. So I'm just gonna pick any story that I feel my mind and hands really want to make right now. >3< );

hmm... it'll be a story that deals with kids and 2 worlds that tie with each other. x3 and it will be a kind of "light" survival horror type manga.

but i might make something before that because i also wanna make a funny manga with funny looking characters. x3 so i might make both at once. who knows..

Wow, I think that you're otaku too! because you know a lot of anime stuff
but I think that who don't use cosplay or have figures are otaku if know about anime and manga
I saw a lot anime and read many mangas, but I think I am not otaku because I need see more XD

Rising stars? Cool!
This people should be very good!

Yes, I think that too! I think start a manga seriously is very hard and have many pressure @-@
I think that the greats mangas come fron nothing, is very spontaneous! xD
You have 20 years? What college you do?
Is something related on art?

hahaha! conflicting emotions! hahaha
but I think that I know what you felling >3>
But don't give up \o/
Sometime is very frustrating when you think that your art is not good, but if you do your best... is ok
And if now is not the rigth time, we just need to wait

2 worlds? so, have 2 protagonist? or one?
so, it will be a shonen? ( I'm right? XD )
hahaha I like funny looking characters o/ They are fun *3*
And make the manga more interesting!

A-Aie In reply to stelaWoo [2011-01-20 20:59:36 +0000 UTC]

yep then I am definitely 100% otaku +v+ )
*equips shiny cape*

Yep Rising Stars is pretty nice. And many of them use manga studio which is the program I'm using but the program takes like.. lots and lots of experience and usage. I know a lot of the basic controls now and developed a few tricks of my own but it's still frustrating XD

Nope the college I go to is not art related XD It's a business college. I keep art as something to have fun with rather than make money out of it. when it comes to making artwork I'm not good with deadlines at all and I tend to want to make things on a whim @v@; So I just keep it to myself XD

What about you? Are you a college student? What's your major? :3

yeah you're right. >3 ty
I've decided though to go ahead and make the manga XD
I just feel like doing it @.@ even if i make a fool of myself,
I'm just gonna do it. And hopefully get better as I do it. :3
The only way to improve is to try right?
And the longer I wait to use Manga Studio to make the manga, I feel like it will be harder on me because I need to get experience with the software. >A< but we shall see.
saying and doing are different things afterall @A@

LOL No I mean there's like one main character and they journey between 2 different worlds >.< I happen to be into writing science fiction >////< lol

So I put a bit of sci-fi in all my manga x3
yep you're definitely right!
funny looking characters are so awesome >o ima go and see if i can make/upload any x3 i feels like making a funny character <3333

hahah!

Manga studio? I had never heard about xD
I didn't know that they use a program to do their mangas.....I had tought that was all manual lol

Ahh! I tought that you do something related with art x)
but business is good too!
live for art is very hard.......and complicated hahha! XD

Well, I do college of Design xP
I was in doubt in design or visual arts, but I choosed design o/
is not a very popular course in Brazil, but it is developing
I do in a public university, because unlike other countries, the best colleges are public

Yep, you're right!
I really want to see your manga, it will be great!
hahaha science fiction is very cool!
with a funny character, will be awesome!

P.S. Sorry for the late!!!
This week was so crazy, and I not have time for anything!

oh it's true, many manga artists and publishers use manga studio these days because they can get work done relatively faster, spend less money on tools, and apply other digital effects they can't do by hand.

but that's only for some people. the majority, mostly the older generation, still do it by hand with tools and ink. x3 because ms is for tablet users and tablets cost money AND it takes time to get used to. that's why you will find that many still do it by hand. :3 but if you can afford it you can go completely digital with it.~

oooh so you're in design? that's awesome <3 no wonder your pictures have such style to it <3 it's really awesome <33333

and tysvm i'm doing my best on it. ;v; ) and i wanna see your manga some day too. i'm sure your manga will be gorgeous and awesome <3333

P.S. it's ok, i'm late too cuz of college and it was hard to find your message because i have so many notifications on dA. @-@ i had to delete some.

HM!
I thought that is all made by hand, except the glitter effects on shoujo manga ^^''
I really love the hatches!

Yep, many people the older generation that I know, don't like digital art ><
but they are half right, because art traditional should not be forgotten
but we should not be limited thoughts ^^''

I bought my first tablet in 2009 lol
And cost like 50 dollars.......was very bad........but I have one wacom now <3
my mother give me on my birthday, but I share with my sister XD
and you? whe you have your first tablet?

ahah thanks so much! <3

P.S. no poblem! I late too XD
Have many works to do and Art trade!! /o\

I saw a new submission on your page >D you've been working hard
They're so beautiful I always enjoy looking at your work

well some by hand XD some digital. and they always convert digital effects into screentones for those who don't use a computer. so it's always by preference. :3

yes i agree with you. x3 traditional art should never be forgotten. but at the same time, it's good to try new things and see how far we can go with art too :3
so i completely agree with you.

in 2009?! XD i got my first one just last year in 2010. lolz XD i also got it on my b-day too in August or so. X3

And I see you work with photoshop on your artwork. That's really amazing. +v+ I've been trying various art programs and they're really good, but I like photoshop's results better. it's always so shiny with so any possibilities.

i've been reading tutorials on illustrator and photoshop. but it takes a lot of practice. even though i've been using photoshop since childhood, it still takes time for me to get used to using a tablet in that program. but seeing your work, you have definitely convinced me to try.

bytheway, when you use textures and special brushes in the picture, is it your own that you made yourself or is it from a website? i can't make textures on my own so i'm always hunting for them on the net lol

P.S. - same here XD
i've been working on lots of art work and requests lately as well. >.<
and i will keep watch for your art submission

but I will try to post one or more work for month XD

ahh me too, I only use photoshop lol
and I look for many tutorials, but this helped me a lot >> [link]

well, the textures are form DA lol
I forgot where I catch them....so I don't put the credits for the person....lol
but I will try to do that now ><
me too, It's so hard to made yourself lol

P.S. This iss sooo late! sorry lol

uwahhhhhhhhhhh TYSVM!!!
that tutorial was so amazingly helpful!!
i didn't think to use those three default brushes at all.
zomg i did not think.
but the method is so simple! i looked up other tutorials online and everything was so complex -__- like really really reallyyyy complicated. so much that i just gave up and decided to get lynda.com's adobe tutorials and learn how to use the software from scratch.

but this method is really amazing!
and i see~ so you get them from dA? >D me too! but i've never rlly used a texture before @-@ i'm not completely sure how to go about actually using a texture. i have a rough idea. but not rlly sure. i gotta look up a tutorial for that.

and i'm the same as you XD we need to upload more art lolz
but life takes it toll with college and everything @-@ when I get home i wanna draw, but my body demands food and sleep (i'm not a heavy eater but it's always one or the other). XD

but i think today i've been motivated to try this method. so i'm gonna see what i can do. >)
and look at more tutorals XD lol i'm an addict for learning new methods @-@ but i just feel like i want to know and learn more since i never really worked with color until last yr or so. even though i've been drawing for a long time, i always worked in paper and pencil. i don't use crayons, pastels, markers, etc. to color anything. i use shades of gray. while that's nice on paper, i really want to see how far i can go with colors using software. >///< tee hee

so tysvm for this! my next image is dedicated to you

P.S. no problem im late too lol
and you have an art trade in the making? >D looks like i'll get to see another art work from you soon! i'll keep an eye out for it

ahiahia
yes, I loved these tutorial <3
Is so simple and cute! the layout is very cute <3
and I use only these 3 brushes!
you can do several things with them

yes, I think that too
I want to use every tool of art, if possible
I already used watercolor, crayons, charcoal, carving...
but I like the most is using pencil, and making shadows on gray XD

lolll
I'm so late on this art trade @-@
but I think I'll post it tomorrow or monday lol
I hope >_<

P.S. Soooooooorry for the late @-@
and I really enjoying our conversation
