Final Fantasy X Fan ArtI love the background music "Calm/Silence Before the Storm" in Macalania Woods and Kilika Woods, just felt like mentioning that.
Anyway, this is in Macalania Woods. Auron left the others (who are resting somewhere) to be alone for a while. He is probably brooding over his past, his mistakes, his promises and all the terrible secrets he is keeping from the rest of the group. And he is probably tired and weary, too.
Watched by a clueless Rikku who has no idea what's going on and who he really is, like most members of the party. Will she approach him and ask what's the matter? Will she even attempt to comfort him? Will he tell her the truth about himself (well, providing that he got drunk enough to do so XD)? Or will she just skip back to the others? It's up to you.

Wah! This art reminds me of the scene where only Rikku and Auron who didn't go to the Farplane. I like how you make Auron and Rikku's expressions, it is really full of feelings (?)! You're so great, really! I hope Rikku will choose to ask what's the matter to him and comfort him too! Because I know he really need some of that...
Even Tidus can't do such thing, I think.

I absolutely love the Final Fantasy series, this picture you drew, and the soundtrack when you're in the Makalania Forest. It's so . . . spacey and infinite sounding.
This is definitely going in my favorites!
P.S. A little fun fact contradiction: Calm Before The Storm is a soundtrack that plays in some other part of the game I cannot recall. It's in one of the plains.

Silence/Calm before the storm is not the name of Makalania Forest's theme. It is simply 'Makalania Forest' and can be heard here [link]
Calm before the storm is another track belonging to a separate part of the game, unless there are two tracks that play in Makalania Forest. I tried Googling the location Calm Before the Storm plays, but no results. I know it has to be in some other part of the game though.

Yes, there are two tracks in the Macalania area. "Macalania Forest" (I think if you leave the forest) and "Silence before the Storm" (while you are in the forest, one can hear it here: [link] ). And it plays while you are in Kilika Woods ([link] ). But other than that I can't remember any other place.

Not to intrude, but i've played this game so many times that I know it like the back of my hand! "Calm Before the Storm" plays in not only the Kilika Woods and Macalania Forest, as previously mentioned, but also in the cavern detour of the Calm Lands; the land inbetween the Calm Lands and Mt. Gagazet
Another place is the caves higher up in Mt. Gagzet ( [link] ). By the way, you have made some of the most beautiful art pieces for this game i have ever seen! Awesome job, FFX definitely deserves more attention

I love you you put great detail into the characters but the back/foregrounds have broader, and thicker strokes with less intricacy. It gives the image a nice effect and pulls you to look at the characters.
