Description
This cover depicts a scene from my newest Yu-Gi-Oh fan-fiction, which involves how her other self first meets Yami Marik after the end of episode 89. The story takes place at the exposition of episode 90, where Yugi and the others recall Joey and Odion getting knocked out by the lightning strikes during their duel and Joey barely waking up to win. The events involving Aurora, Yami Marik, and his two female Rare Hunters Candice & Vanessa will be revealed in the fanfiction.

The scene illustrated in this picture was inspired by Chibiusa/Rini's vision of the Sailor Scouts' responses to her biggest mistake, which happened in episode 77 of Sailor Moon. She went to borrow the Silver Crystal to prove she can be a lady like her mother, Neo Queen Serenity. However, the crystal disappeared right before her very eyes when she did take it, causing chaos to erupt in Crystal Tokyo. Neo Queen Serenity was encased in a quartz shield that was created by the Inner Sailor Scouts and King Endymion was horrified to see the devastation that was occurring throughout the futuristic empire. The entire vision of what happened to the Silver Crystal was revealed to Chibiusa/Rini by the Wiseman, who tricked her into coming with him and seeking revenge on the Sailor Scouts and her parents for not loving her.

I was listening to "Welcome to Heartbreak" (feat. Kid Cudi) by Kanye West while watching the scene when this idea came into my head after not being able to draw anything for a while. Now that I've drawn it, my motivation to draw is back!

Yes, Aurora's duel disk is on backwards. I apologize for this small mistake, but please enjoy this piece regardless of it. No artwork is perfect, after all. ^^
