Setting

Place: The Milky Way Galaxy

Time: 2387

Backstory

The year is 2287. Humans have made much technological progress and have developed Faster Than Light Travel. As a result, the United Nations of Earth have come into contact with several other space faring empires. One of which, The Hymoni, have become a great ally. 5 years ago, an empire on the other side of the galaxy, called the Jurman Confederation declared war on the Hymoni, and likewise, the UNE as well. The war was won in 2 years, and the UNE and the Hymoni States became great allies, but it greatly increased tension between the Jurman, and the Hymoni and Humans.

Characters

Fleet Admiral Gerrick Woodson: 50, missing right eye. A simple and calm man who made his way up in the ranks. Very loyal to the UNE.

Lieutenant Natasha Lewis: 34, new to the fleet. Natasha is a bit trigger-happy and over confident, however she is great at manning the weapons on most ships.

Captain Roger Mason: 45, captain of the Avenger. Roger is the captain and helmsman of the Avenger. He is a battle hardened veteran from the First Galactic War.

Olmec Ragnar: 254, Engineering officer of the Avenger. Is a Hymonian male. Believes Admiral Woodson is not qualified for his position.

Factions

The United Nations of Earth: The modern government of Earth. Rose from the ashes of the original UN after the Great World War and devoted most funding to science and infrastructure.

The Hymoni States: Capital located on Hymoni Prime. The Hymoni are the first and greatest allies of the UNE. They are a militaristic society, however they also respect others when shown honor, courage and bravery.

Jurman Confederation: The Jurman Confederation is an alliance of worlds on the other side of the galaxy. They are led by the Jurmans. The Confederation is still recovering from its loss in First Galactic War.

The Ravagers: The largest pirate gang in the galaxy. Everyone has either fought, worked for, or has done business with them. They steal from everyone and are only driven by greed and self-empowerment.

The Hive: The Hive is a strange hostile robotic faction that has appeared in the galaxy. From what past encounters show, they are a hive mind. There is no reason behind their aggression for the time being.

Species

Human: A Humanoid race from Earth. They are considered normal by galactic standards.

Jurman: A humanoid/reptilian species with a human like torso and head and a snake like lower half. They have scales on their hands and face and have hair on their head.

Hymoni: A race of Humanoids that, if early 2nd millennia Earth pop culture is to be trusted, would look similar to elves. They look similar to humans, but with longer ears that end in points.

Kiluti: A molluscoid race that appears as a orb with 2 eyes and 10 tentacles it uses to walk and swim. It's porous, leathery skin allows it to absorb moisture from the atmosphere, and protect it from heat. It is an asexual species.
