Description
She went for that classic S.W.A.T. team, Biker look. She even took the trouble of getting dark eyeliner from the replicator to get that Panda/Bardot make up. ‚All in all not too shabby‘ she thought as she posed in front of the observation deck window.
She got closer to the window to peek outside. Was the spaceport already in sight? Was this window heading out to the front? There were just millions of stars out there that didn’t seem to move at all.
Dunya grabbed the Dostoevsky paperback that was still lying next to the replicator and made her way back to the elevator. While walking through her sleeping quarters and the cargo bay, she tried to keep track of the turns she took in order to determine, if the windows in the waiting room/terminal were facing the same way as the ones on the observation desk, but she lost track very early on.
The elevator was patiently waiting for her as always. She got in, pressed the second to last from the bottom and down she went. Stepping into the waiting room, she figured, that the wall to the left might be shifted 90 degrees clockwise from the front at the observation deck, so with the window straight ahead it would give her almost a 360 degree view from the ship. If the WOOZEE space station was anywhere near, she should be able to spot it. Of course she could always go back to the cockpit. That was bound to point into the direction where they were going, but because of her nightmares, it wasn’t a place that she wasn’t particularly keen on. She went to the big window on her left to look outside.
