Description Smalfjord, in the Nothern East of Norway: [link]
2010 September 14

The northernmost point of the world I've never been to.
Too much beauty for one lonely person,
This day my heart was feeling heavy.

I put my tent there in front of this old fishing boat, far enough so that I don't wake up in the salt water in the middle of the night.

as a part Norwegian i can relate
a ship is a ship when the boat arrives
nice photo...and thanks for all your nice comments
they mean a lot coming from someone i think is got his eye on the image
and shoots from the hip
yet captures the moment quite well

Again you are taking chances...first playnig on the highway, now tempting tidal surges.

I had a discussion with a local old couple in an international language about where to put safely the tent before I install myself for the night. Shame on me I didn't take a picture of them although I had the camera in my hands during the "discussion".

Thank you Mark.
Yes, the day after I was feeling much lighter again.

Gorgeous shot.... the splintered lower hull showing the harshness of the environment. And I totally empathise with your feelings at the time having frequently visiting similar locations in Scotland.... Almost overwhelming beauty, sadness and loneliness.

A treasure on every curve of the road, enough for a soul to get drunk. I had to stop the car.

Delta film isn't bad.
I've an almost similar one taken with my small format camera taken with Tri-X, the result is quite different. I prefer this one.
