Description
Customized 'Kabegami, god of the catwalk' ceramic statue.
This is my new fanmade custom figure, ' Kabegami' god of the catwalk inspired from the game Okami.
She is extremely fragile.
I repainted the already made base model and sculpted the wings/feathers and attached them all to the model.
The model has been painted with acrylic paint. She was then covered it matte varnish to protect the paint from scratches.
Length measures roughly 5 inches, height from paws to tail measure roughly 6.5 inches.

Hi there Chiiritarisu! The body was already white but the eye and face area were airbrushed with different colours, so I redid the paint job on those parts as well as minor tweeks in other areas and glazed it

OH RIGHT! as the material I was painting on was china, it naturally had a smooth finish. I didnt paint the whole thing, just parts. I wish I could get my sculptures that smooth! haha

ahhhh what clay are you using? I normally use supersculpey and its great to work with! Sculpeyfirm is even better if you do not want to work with 'tacky sticky' clay.

I work with Fimo. Sculpey is not available here in my country.. and I have troubles with Fimo Classic being really grainy and falling apart when I try to knead it. So I use Fimo soft which is sticky, but when I knead it well it's okay.. I only have problems with white coloured clay..

Ah, wish I could advise you, but I do not work with Fimo. Although I will be soon as my dad purchased TONS for me for Christmas! XD
