Quinto found a loving home with !

My very first art doll!

Meet 'Quinto' The fantasy snow-leopard fennec- fox!
He is a one of a kind, handmade semi-posable art doll. Quinto was made entirely from scratch. Starting off as a lump of clay and a few bits of wire, he gradually transformed into the little cutie you now see before you!
I hand sculpted the head and feet from clay onto a wire frame then wrapped pipe cleaners and stuffing around the armature to bulk him out and to give him a realistic softness. The faux fur is then hand sewn on and glued down for extra securness. I then hand painted the clay in acrylic paints and covered it in matt varnish to protect the paint from scratches. Finally I glossed the eyes and nose to give it a wet look.
Quinto's mane and tail tips have been hand dyed pale blue to compliment the blue within his eyes, pawpads and ears. Unfortunatly the camera has washed the pale blue colour out slightly so it is a little hard to see. He has 4 little pale blue adhesive rhinestones attached to the center of his face which follow the pattern of his markings.
Quinto is roughly 7 inches high (from floor to top of head) and roughly 10 inches long in length (Not including the tail) The tail alone is 10 inches so if fully outsretched the overall measurement in length is roughly 20 inches.
-----IMPORTANT------
Quinto is a SEMI-POSABLE art doll. Meaning his posablity is limited. His tail, back legs and spine are fully posable. His fron legs are a little rigid and so are semi posable. Please DO NOT attempt to pose the head and shoulders as this can lead to damage of the clay.
Please remember this doll is NOT A TOY! It is a piece of artwork. The head and feet are made from clay and if mishandled or dropped, damage can occur. Quinto is one of a kind!

I do take commissions, so if you are interested please send me a note or an email! (stephanieatkinz@hotmail.com)

He is beautiful!!!! O.O the details I saw in the eyes and overall life that they hold are amazing! The use of the bright blues in his ears are so pretty with the greys of the fur. Would love to just hold him on my lap and pet him~ <3
