VerrΓΌckt-verspielt, gefΓ€llt mir. Da kann man seine Augen lange drΓΌber wandern lassen und entdeckt immer wieder neue Details. Am liebsten wΓΌrd ich drum rum gehen!
Das Ding erinnert mich an mich selber, mit meiner Art an Dingen festzuhalten, mich mit Krempel zu umgeben. Aber ist alles sehr liebevoll zusammengestellt... der Sammler hat einfach Charakter!

The start of a Merzbau. Eine Entruempelungsskulptur.

You are right Art is Merz. K. Switters. Entruempelungsskuptur is a good name or classification of this, never heard about that name, if you do not mind I will use it. Thanks for that good idea!!!

I keep that in mind, for "Entruepelungskulpture" is such a perfect word for this!!! It seems you know a lot of German language
Thanks Otto

My native tongue, actually. Grew up in Vienna. Even for german speakers, the viennese expressions are somewhat inventive and at times not easily understood, it seems to be a pastime to come up with droll words - another one I didn't invent, but came across just recently, is a descriptive word (in a derogatory sense) that could fit my earlier art: "Grottenbahnsurrealismus"
It's just that I lived in Canada for almost 40 years and I converse easier in english ......
More german stuff: I love the dada poem by Arp that ~chutson99 added to my last entry [link]

So you grew up in the centre of the "Phantastic Realism", haven't been in Austria for a long time!

Have a nice time there, enjoy "to be back home"! Hope the Palace will be great, I love more his early works than the late ones.
