I painted it a long time ago and forgot about it but found it again today.

Well I'm a studio art major and art history is required (that doesn't mean i don't enjoy it). I plan on being a painter, plain and simple, but i guess that could be a pretty big goal if thats my only source of income.

Right now I'm taking a modern European art history class. We just got past impressionism and I remember seeing this painting. I definately think you got the painting down, not just the Degas style but feeling of the actual zombie like Absinthe drinkers. Manet did a painting I think called "Absinthe Drinker" or something like that, and the expression of a drained zombie is shown as well. I really enjoy your work alot, where do you usually get your references for your paintings?

Thanks. That means alot considering how much I admire Degas. Erm, the references I get mostly from fashion magazines, Vouge, Harpers Bazaar etc.
I'm doing Art History next year at Uni. What do you plan to do with your study?
