Here a gift for I was inspired from a previous fanart. www.deviantart.com/stephdumas/…Here Maurecia from Wayside school without her helmet and ponytail, swimming underwater switching from her rollerblades to use flippers and fix them correctly before she do freediving. Note then she also wear the lifejacket from the episode "My partner gets all the credit".

Keep drawing more her with the standard diving fins/the rollerflippers instead of the rollerskates if it's also will be dedicated to TXToonGuy1037 , sotosbros (if you could draw her along with dolphins), NeoduelGX (if you take your chance to draw her swim while she's microfoam tape gagged), kbinitiald , emmanu888 , brauer83 , & adamRY even while do scuba diving.

Yes but it could also be used to be seen in places underwater where there's less light with reflectives colours.
Edit: Also, for unknown reasons, they used lifesaver jackets in that episode of Wayside for... synchronized swimming. youtu.be/78F5g34qml8?t=427 And not all lifesaver jackets might be designed might be designed to inflate to go to the surface as shown in that fanart.
