Description The numerous TDI cameos toongenius.deviantart.com/gall… done by Toon Genius , gived me another inspiration for the following sketch.

I saw those Ford vintage tv ads on Youtube with the "Going Thing" song for the 1969 model year www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8rAh7… then Ford used in North America to promote the Mustang, Fairlane/Torino, Galaxie/LTD (Falcon was on its last legs in North America while it continued to soldier Down Under in Australia) and the early 1970s in Australia www.youtube.com/watch?v=-59Aka… with the Aussie Falcon, Fairlane, Capri, Cortina, Escort(?)

Just imagine if that ad featured the characters of TDI/TDA/TDWT (Total Drama Island/Total Drama Action/Total Drama World Tour) who sing "Ford is the Going thing". It was a hard choice to chose, I used Harold, Trent, Bridgette, DJ, Geoff, Cody (note then I added a guitar for Cody ), Courtney and Sierra. It's the first time I sketched Sierra and I drawed in an hurry 2 Ford Mustangs, one Torino/Fairlane fastback, the frond end of a LTD and a Thunderbird from the 1969 model year.

Also, if you want to party like it's 1969 , Jalopnik mentionned a vintage video road-test of a 1971 Ford Torino jalopnik.com/5630260/party-lik…

To conclude, I quote a post from an user from GMInsidenews nicknamed Olds88 then I agree with him for his point, the lack of "pizzazz" of some of today's cars:Also today's cars just aren't that lovable. Cars of the 50s and 60s we all about style and road presence. A 1967 Impala (my favorite of the 60s) was a gorgeous car, even though it was just family transportation. It was easy to feel passionate about those cars. But an Accord or Camry? They're appliances. I'm of the belief that for something to be evocative of passion it needs to be somewhat wasteful or inefficient. Aerodynamics have ruined the styling of modern cars (except at Chrysler where "aerodynamics" seems to be the design theme of the beautiful Charger). Fuel economy regulations have taken the fun out of everyday cars and relegated them to niche status (there's only one non-lux V8 sedan out there kids, as opposed to EVERY sedan being V8 and RWD in the past). Styling has become watered down and homogenous. Cars have been stripped of any sort of ornamentation or flash and are now bland monochrome wedges bending over for the gods of aerodynamics
