This is now 58 years since John F. Kennedy was assassinated by Harvey Oswald, a former US Marine.
On November, 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was riding with his wife Jacqueline, Texas Governor John Connally, and Connally's wife Nellie when he was fatally shot from a nearby building by Lee Harvey Oswald, a former US Marine. Governor Connally was seriously wounded in the attack. The motorcade rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where Kennedy was pronounced dead about 30 minutes after the shooting; Connally recovered.
Not only that, but there is a Zapruder film is a silent 8mm color motion picture sequence shot by Abraham Zapruder with a Bell & Howell home-movie camera, as United States President John F. Kennedy's motorcade passed through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963. Unexpectedly, it ended up capturing the President's assassination.
The assassination was one of four major assassinations of the 1960s in the United States, coming two years before the assassination of Malcolm X, and five years before the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. and the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy.
