Okay, some things to note before looking and hating this pic:
1. I cannot do ANY sort of believable effects on the computer.
2. This pic is ancient.

So, with that in mind, ignore the half-assed background that I tried SO HARD to make look good and failed miserably. Alrighty, so I've had this pic drawn a LONG time, so long that it's on my shitty bond paper (as opposed to the thick bright white stuff I've been using for 3 years). I drew it back when I watched all the episodes of Sonic X (as opposed to playing SA2, which I played AFTER I bought my GameCube a year ago). One of my favourite scenes in both the series and Sonic Adventure 2 is the vs. race between Shadow and Sonic, though I like to imagine they have some sort of witty banter while they race, hence the smirks on both of their faces. The background was supposed to be the long corridor they race through, and I even used references... but it's hard to make a motion blur... of straight lines. *sighs* So forgive my bg.

Hope you all like. I thought it withstood the test of time well. Not my best, but my old pics coloured in my new style look really nice, I think. Enjoy.
