Carrion Crow - base photo for my own digital manipulation "psychadelic crow" here [link]

Compare Carrion crow, Hooded crow and raven:

What we have on my pick is the Carrion Crow - In Dutch we call it Black Crow ( Lat; Corvus Corone - Wikipedia: [link] )
In this great shot by [link] we can see the Hooded Crow ( Wikipedia: [link] )

And this [link] is raven (Common Raven (Corvus corax) Wikipedia: [link] ) - close up here [link]

So indeed, black crow and raven do resemble a lot, and are best to be recognized by their size, which, sadly, in my pics is not so obvious - we would have to see them both in one pic to notice the difference.

Thanks to ~psychkitty for her comments and help to differentiate these different but related birds

well, she behaves like raven - but raven is larger, and doesn't live in the wild near our coast
