Weeeell, the character isn't a elf. In some lore vamps have pointed ears. Hehe! He is a vamp thru and thru. Can't wait to see the fan art tho. Hehe.

and not the ones that are all handsome / beautiful ..

Na. No worries. I study old lore, especially vampires. Depends what country you come from that determines the shape or size or ferosity of the beings. Nosferatu is really Hungarian for "blood sucking corpse". They, you'd probably picture, would look like Max Schrek's portrayal of a vampire in the famous 1920's "Nosferatu", loosely based on the Bram Stoker novel Dracula. He did have pointed ears. But pointed ears isn't always accociated with uglyness. Other lore suggests vampires can be very beautiful, they can "glamour" their victims into submission either for sex or exsanguation. You see a lot of that in anime dealing with vampires too. hehe. Can't wait to see the pics.

very educational , and I have a special soft
spot for vampires , always have. they're my
favourite "monster" of them all.. but I don't
see them as monsters , more of a different
"species" of human

Nah. We don't think were are monsters either. Funny thing, the Japanese usually portray us as stoic type anti-heroes in anime. The totured, angsty, gritty good guy thang. They don't see us as all bad. Hehe. In some cultures we can, like humans, be good or bad. It's a choice. There is so much lore out there going all the way back to ancient Babylon, the dawn of human civilization. But I don't htink I like the way we are portrayed in recent movies...we don't sparkle, for one thing. Haha.

the weakling didn't even bite her 
the vampire movies I've ever seen , I'd have to say
that one let me down the most. so disappointing.
just as well I waited to hire it on DVD and not waste
heaps of money going to the movies LOL!!!

even though it too was about a teenager that turned
vamp , he was a sparkling poofter
I must admit though , I've never (to my knowledge)
watched any vampire anime's .. I think they'd be
most interesting.
