Last weekend we've made a trip to the Achensee, some 50km from Innsbruck.it's one of the coldest lakes here in Austria, but at the same time one of the lakes with the best water quality you'll find in Austria and its neighboring countries.
for the photo i was standing on a small pier at the beach in Maurach, at the southern end of the lake. so here we are looking north towards Germany (behind the mountains in the far back).

ja, ich hab eh noch einige photos "übrig" - die thematisch zu spezifisch waren oder die ich einfach nicht mehr hab reinpacken können - von dem her is genug material für einen weiteren article vorhanden

man meint man könne dort überall drin stehen ...

der Achensee ist groß, und den hinteren Teil sieht man hier gar nicht, da er nach rechts noch recht weit zurück geht.
stehen kann man dort nicht wirklich, aber da der See so sauber ist, sieht man fast überall den Grund, und der ist teilweise über 30m tief unten...
