One announcement to make! As far as this year goes, I have no plan to go back to animation studios. I’ve decided to create my own animated pilot short independently in a hope to make a mini-series in near future. And as of today, pre-production is wrapping up and animation kicks off. I will share little by little what this animation project is, title, genre, characters, wonderful staffs in the team, making process and many more through here. I want to continue to make what I love, so the style of the show and animation will be somewhat in Anime, continuous from like my previous works Legend of Korea and Voltron Legendary Defender. Personally it will be such an adventure with risk as I have to juggle with no paychecks and supporting family same time. But hopefully, this adventure will be worth in the end, opening some new possibility. Wish me luck!

일을 처음 시작하기 전에 30대 중반이 되면 그런 일들을 하고 있지 않을까 스스로 생각해 본 적이 있습니다. 어느 정도 실력과 경험을 쌓은 후면 제 작품도 하게 되지 않을까 생각했었습니다. 실력은 더디 올라가고 경험도 폭 넓혀지지 않는데 인생은 야속하게 빨라서 벌써 35살을 바라보네요. 나이가 특이점이 되어버려서 이제는 어쩔 수 없이 결단을 내려 안정적인 일터에서 나와 머릿속으로만 그려 왔던 그런 일들을 진행 하고 있습니다. 저의 다음 차기 작품은 개인 독립작입니다. 독립작이지만 보통 생각하는 독립 애니에는 사실 관심이 전혀 없고 무리하게;; 단편들로 구성된 미니시리즈를 제작을 해볼까합니다. 일단 첫 화 제작을 위해 제 부족한 실력과 경험을 대신 채워줄 수 있는 제가 좋아하는 스타일을 구현해주실 수 있는 소박한 작은 팀을 꾸렸습니다. 프리프로덕션을 어느 정도 마쳐가며 오늘 첫 애니메이팅 삽을 뜹니다. 작품 제목, 장르, 도와주시는 분들, 성우 배우, 제작과정 등 등 하나씩 천천히 나누겠습니다. 잘 놀다가 돈 떨어지고 망하면 다시 회사로 돌아오겠습니다. (ㅋㅋㅋ) 그때까진 많은 응원 부탁드려요~!
