A while back I did a watercolor painting of a male cardinal, my sister-in-law Lacy wanted to buy one from me but I told her that as many paintings as she's purchased from me I'd just make her one for free. I dare say she has more of my paintings(that she insisted on paying for) in her home than anyone I know.Β
Having friends & family that believe in your work and want to decorate their homes with it is a thing of beauty.Β
If you have a friend or family member that's an artist and their work inspires you, I encourage you to invest in them by buying their work. You'd be surprised what that will do for them, trust me on this one.
I wanted to do a more refined piece of work for her than the loose splattered style I normally do. After Lacy receives hers I plan on having a very limited run to make it all the more unique.
