Description
an unfinished pic of rock star Sting. i knew it would be difficult drawing a black leather jacket with grain & detail. I wasn't helped by pencils that kept breaking whenever i tried to sharpen them. in the end i lost interest and started to rush it, hence the crappy work you are looking it.I then lost interest completely. sometimes thats the way it goes.

You listen to his recent solo work, and then you hear "Fall Out/Nothing Achieving" for the first time and you go: "I like this Sting better."
But "The Last Ship" is superb, regardless of the fact that he did punk earlier.

Ahh I know what you mean about the losing interest thing. The amount of times I've given up on portraits. But this is really really good!
You should crop it so it shows his head and neck only. That way it's pretty much a finished portrait.
