Looking through your gallery, she looks EXACTLY like the Matilda in the movie (the one based on Roald Dahl's book, _Matilda_), except that Matilda's hair is black. It's just a creepy resemblance...

wonder and innocence?
i see much more dark in this girl. she is after something, something beyond the what the grasp of any "innocent" or "naive" child is "supposed" to desire, and she will do anything to get it, she will bite her bottom lip clean off if she doesn't get it. the child's tools of manipulation are much more vasdt than that of any adult.

If a movie came out and this was the movie poster, I would see the movie without thinking twice. This evokes such... I imagine this would have been the expression on my face as a child had I discovered my own secret garden.

Though I know that the creation of art is generally about the emotions the artist feels, art is truly about what others experience as a result of experiencing it. As artists, we just luck out sometimes and have someone feel what we felt when we created it, but I tend to appreciate anyone's reaction or interpretation.
