PRINTS AVAILABLEThe challenge here was to draw Zoro from One Piece. I thought it would be a challenge and a half to take him into the realm of realism. After all the hours it took I really wish I had went more cartoon-ish.
Since I've never watched the show, I took inspiration from references and just kind of went with it. I hope it pleases the fans of the show.

Thanks a lot! My friend has been suggesting that I check it out, but with 600 plus episodes, it's really intimidating. It still looks like a fantastic show. I mean, who doesn't like pirates, right?

it is indeed intimidating, plus the beginning is extremely slow so I can understand that at this point it's something really difficult to start. BUT, there's hope : there's movie formatted episode that'll feature a whole arc of the story (Nami episodes is the latest but the first you should check since it's almost the beginning) . Thoses are 1.5 hours episode that have been redraw and I hope more will come, as they are clearly superior to the first episode (years passed since then

looking very nice steve. one thing i will mention is watch the proportion if you're trying for realism.

Thanks! It was tough trying to get his lanky top-heavy physique while keeping it realistic. I'm gonna have to work on my anatomy skills some more, foreshortening is the bane of my existence.

Amazing job! The light works amazingly well and has a great feel overall. Something about his lifted knee is bothering me though, something about the angle or the size is my guess. Nice one!

Thank you! It's been bothering me too, I think it's something to do with the angle and his overall lankiness. I need to practice foreshortening a little more. It's tricky stuff!
