Here's a picture of one of my roses out front. I used a diopter for the close up and a narrow aperture to get better depth of field.I took another picture of this rose with pretty much the opposite settings so you may want to check out that one too.
Edited in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.

Thanks! This time all I used was Lightroom. Since I got Lightroom I've hardly had to touch photoshop for photos; in fact Lightroom's noise reduction and color adjustments are pretty much superior to even Photoshop CS5.
