Originally Posted November 6, 2006Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is one of best Super Mario games I have ever played, if not one of the best games ever. If you haven't played it its a game about Mario's very first adventure with his dinosaur partner Yoshi. Kamek and his crew attempt to kidnap the Mario bros before the stork could take them to their parents, but only manages to capture the younger brother. Mario on the other hand lands on Yoshi's Island, and with the help of the Yoshi's he sets out to save his little brother from Kamek who is taking care of a Baby Bowser.
Baby Bowser who was turned Giant by his minion Kamek's powers fights Yoshi who launches eggs at him. I always imagine it would be cool if Baby Bowser fought in baby'd version of the infamous clown car from Super Mario World.
I always enjoyed the style of Yoshi's Island, with its own unique story book backgrounds, to its nice and think black outlined sprites.
