I have always loved the more violent renditions of the symbiote's change, this is perfect, very visceral.
I'd echo everyone's thoughts about your lunch break being long or you being fast, but then, I've seen some pretty amazing art with a lot of detail produced in a very short amount of time.
You're quick, but you're also very very good.

Thanks, man! I'm glad you like it. I guess I trained myself for speed because with my heavily detailed style and my limited free time I would never get anything done otherwise. I used to only be able to get work done on the weekends and sometimes even then I wouldn't finish my pieces. Also, in the last three weeks or so I have gotten noticeably faster which I'm very pleased about. I guess that's the point of being on DeviantArt, to learn and grow and become a better artist. I'm learning from so many amazing artists including yourself whose energy and love for your art whether it's comic art, poetry, photography etc. pushes me to do better. So if you guys really like my work then you guys should fave yourselves because you are the ones that are responsible.

I've lost quite a bit of my speed, I used to flash(no pun intended) through artwork. Though, unlike you, my technique improved with slowing, as opposed to yours getting better with speed it seems. These days I haven't got the quick pace I used to, but I still get things done a lot faster than most I know.
Really, with art, you need inspirations, peers or otherwise. As for learning the craft and improving it, as I've said before, " Art is like life, once you're done learning and improving, stop, you're free to go."
Also I echo the sentiment, just being on here and viewing and being viewed has helped, stuff that blows me away, like your Venom here or some of the others I watch or have seen just makes me try harder, or teaches me a trick or idea I didn't know or have before.
