  Hal Jordan is an astronaut that in a mission to the Moon, he and his crew found na old alien ship. Inside the ship they found a robot and a dead alien wearing a glowing green ring.
Of course that Jordan took the ring which activated the robot and then he attacked him. Hal, without knowing how, shot an energy blast on the robot destroying it before flying away to deep space.
  Jordan woke up on a planet with a alien called Kilowog with a ring just like Hal’s. The planet is Oa former home of the Green Lantern Corp the universe’s old peacekeeping force. The Corp was exterminated when The Guardians created the army of robots known as the Manhunters but they turned against their creators and The Guardians were also killed.
  Kilowog and Hal then go to the universe searching for more Green Lanterns, crossing paths with The Manhunters and found the last survivor of The Guardians, Ganthet, which was hided along it the Lanterns’ Power Battery. Seeing Hal and Kilowog fighting against the Manhunters gave Ganthet the hope he needed to call the other Lanterns on the galaxy.
  After defeating the Army of Manhunter, Ganthet reunited the new corp in Oa and started rebuilding it as they’re home base. And Hal returned to Earth to warn them of a threat heading to the planet on full force.
