Not bad. Looks really cool to be sure.
I know a few things about electronics, not professional level but I have some knowledge. That little device is entirely possible.
Pixelated graphics like that? Without any huge encompassing games with 3D graphics or something, that would be a breeze to fit in something like that, along with the bluetooth and TV out. Heck, with it that thick there would probably be a lot of empty space in there as well.
Someone's modded a single Nintendo Super Mario Bros. cartridge to contain buttons, a screen, a full Nintendo system, and a library of hundreds of Nintendo games, this little toy idea is very plausible... it would just take lots of custom work to make one, and doesn't have much to offer as a real commercial device. Also, Wi-Fi for the multiplayer would be easier and probably cheaper too, no pairing required, just get in the radius and connect. It's what the DS uses.
Thought you'd find that interesting.

i was getting a bit bored with it so i just mapped the faces for the grey grip. my design sketch had it all nice and rounded, but i couldn't be bothered to model it at the moment. i wanted to post it on dA's birthday for some reason ;D
will sort it out for unit V1.1

Thanks everyone!
I play the mobile version on a Nokia 6600, which has a stick with push-button. Plays real well - only the phone is a bit small to hold comfortably, hence my nice round unit.

I assume that the controls would need some getting use to...but the original design is phenomenonal.

i like the design... it's just that people are used to the two handed device like the gameboys and PSP... it is a nice design though

The game doesn't need more than one button. Have a play - I added the links in the description.
I'm rather old-skool. We did the game originally on the Commodore 64, only one button ;D

lol
there's a tips page if you need the help. it's all about keeping your combo going. If you time it right, you can chain from the very first monster all the way to the Boss.
