Metroid II was an freakin' scary game. There were times when I'd be running full tilt, and slam right into a metroid (cue suddent music change) and almost drop my gameboy.The darkness and monochromatic greenish yellow tint was actually perfect for creating that alien-y isolated feeling. Even the super low-res pixel art from the game was quite beautiful, so I wanted to keep most of that feel for this quick sketch.
