How precarious life is when we live on the edge, to close to the valleys in life.

Excellent shot. Good eye.

You know I have to say I was surprised at how this picture came out. When I shot the picture I liked the placement of the tree,(and how gnarly it looked) the dried plant life around it, but not until I saw it on my monitor at home did I realize what a neat picture it turned out to be. One of those nice surprises instead of "Oh crap it came out blurry!!" lol

Thx for the feedback.

I love this shot! Love the muted colors at the top of the shot, to the eye being drawn to the tree which takes center stage among the golden flower heads. The entire shot is well done. I so love that tree!

Thanks for the well thought out comment. It indeed was a neat little tree. It still amazes me how we can find color and beauty among things that seem almost lifeless. Photography has really opened my eyes.

You are welcome. Isn't it funny how we see things differently? I began doing that a few years ago, but for different reasons and becoming interested in photography became a real big interest, after that. I always enjoyed it, but it really took off from that point onward for me. Driving down the road and my mind is going "ohhhh, look at that" and I am seeing it in the viewfinder of my mind's camera.
Only people like ourselves would understand that statement.
