This is a shot from my current road trip. It was a very freaky/spooky/neat old homestead. It was snowing (high wind snow) when I shot this, so in some ways it looks like the picture is not as clear as it should be.Editing: Color tone/Color burn/lighting

Hey Dorian! I was so lucky to be there during a storm and capture the moment. Later on when it was all clear and sunny it just wasn't the same as far as an atmospheric feel to the scene. Timing is everything

Yeah, I agree the snow does add a nice effect to it. As long people realize it is snow and not a messy photograph

Oh man..this one is REALLY special buddy..just a fantastic find. I could stand there taking photos of that all day. Your treatment of the pic..the sepia and the framing...is perfect.

You're not kidding Suma, I could of stood there for hours snapping shots. There was a fence barring me from getting any closer, or I would of explored a bit more with my camera. Everytime I look at the picture I keep half expecting to see a ghostly figure standing in the doorway or the upper window. It always creeps me out to think about the past lives that once lived within these old homesteads. With that in mind I went about editing it, to make it somewhat haunting and make us think about the people that once lived inside.

Very nice. Are those leaves, raining across it, or what? What an awesome little house. There's something about tiny empty old wooden buildings. Wouldn't mind seeing the original. The tones are working for it, I like the misty background. Yay for you!

Yeah, that is blowing snow that you see coming across the frame. I am glad you asked about that, because the snow almost makes the picture look kind of blurry.

if it were me, i would do it, thats what i did with my nike series. you'd be surprised on what you can find, just carefull of the floor and ceiling, and dont touch anything
