I’ve always been fascinated by prehistory and the great extinct animals of earth’s past. I was inspired by my trip to Brazil when I saw fossils of one of these fascinating birds. The seriema is the only living descendent and likely lives a very similar kind of lifestyle on the pampas of South America.
