I'm geussing you set it on a longer exposure to get the nice, almost over-bright look to the lights
the snow laden branches are a good touch.. I wants snow.. but eh, I can do without the cold

the snowy branches are the reason i was out there photographing when its so fricken cold out!
actually, i didn't over-expose it, i increased the shutter so it could collect more light. which is what ya have to do at night. however for this picture i didn't have to put the shutter speed up too high, i think this one has a pretty fast sutter because you can see the snow flakes in the back which means it was taken fairly quickly, heh.

Indeed very amazing...it doesn;t even look like a photo... and I just love the warm feeling it gives... like the lost spirit in the dark woods, peeking around a corner, looking for his lost fellows.

yeah, and its so cool that its blue, which is normally considered a cold colour, but because of the christmas lights, the snow and the safe feeling of it, it has a very warm effect.
