The Hovel...I want you to look at this for a while.
I didn't make this to be flashy or eye catching. This is supposed to suck you in and make you feel calm.
Jaws might not drop, but i worked on this for months and it's a personal fav, i hope you enjoy it!

You certainly succeded on this one.
I particularly like how it seems minimalistic up front but still holds great detail in the terain and the little cottage. That bright star is also a nice touch.

It really made me feel....as if..I was actually standing there,Looking at the sky,Yes calm,Thats right,The stars are amazing,And the hovel itself looks,Like somthing i could picture a hermit or an old mage lving in! And that tree....This has to be one of my favoutites,Extremely wonderful job!

cute is the first word that comes to mind. i like it. but i think the light on the house (and particular landscape parts) that's reflecting from the sky should be stronger. you captured a nice mood.

i agree, the terrain is generally fairly dark. i had a hard time trying to make a mostly featureless landscape that fit the mood. plus my TG1 isn't working anymore

i'm very pleased to see people have noticed the details i put so much work into. I worried long and hard about if i should submit it 'cause i always feel discouraged when people don't notice the little things i do... of course it's kinda expected that the creator of a picture would notice things that others would... i wonder if thats why God's so smart?! haha

I likes it...I have always had a plan on becoming a hermit and if I did this would be the view I would love to have...of course when you turn around there would be amazing mountains too...I likes the tree as well...wouldn't be home without that tree

Thumbs up to all the wanna be hermits out there. Nothing like fending off a grizzly as it tries to take your stash of buried nuts and berries...
I think I may do it if I lose my dog suddenly...Nothing like solitary when you are mourning the lose of a pet...Or I'll do it to get my writing in check along with research...

yup...I work mainly for her...There are some added benefits and it keeps me busy but without her I would find it difficult to stay at any job I didn't like...

as long as I get some bed...(and most times it is half of a twin)...I find I am love her company. I think I kick her in my sleep though cause as soon as I fall asleep she gets down unless she is really tired.
