Mandy: "Yes, you know I bought thousands of MCCY -McCarthy stocks- three years ago, so my question right now is..."

Liliann: "Do I sell or do I hold?"

Mandy: "Yes..."

Liliann: "Ok, let me ask you the following..."

Liliann takes a sip of water

Liliann: "Why do you think he went missing?"

Mandy: "The government, I guess wants the monopoly of electricity and McCarthy has been a hassle for them for many years"

Liliann: "Yeah, sure, everybody knows that; but since you said 'for many years', why is he missing now?"

Mandy: "I don't know..."

Liliann takes another sip of water

Liliann: "Have you ever heard about 'Project Helios'?"

Mandy: "Not really, what is it about?"

Liliann: "In ancient Greek religion and mythology, Helios is the god who personifies the Sun..."

Mandy: "Therefore..."

Liliann: "They have been working on a satellite sun for a long time, and it seems that was planned to be announced next month. It was supposed to be confidential, but it seems somebody leaked the information and well, the government reacted...."

Mandy: "WHAT ON EARTH!? ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT HAVING SUNLIGHT IN THIS WORLD AGAIN? EVEN IF IT'S SOMETHING ARTIFICIAL?"

Liliann: "Indeed..."

Mandy can't believe what she heard, she is in shock

Liliann: "Still interested in the stocks?"

Mandy: "Oh yes, yes, but I think I already know the answer: if 'Project Helios' goes through, the stocks are going to skyrocket and, because in the stocks and crypto markets, the trading rule is 'buy the rumour, sell the news', the government needs to hide this to the public and create a bad reputation so everybody sells... but..."

Liliann: "Aham?"

Mandy: "Now there is another puzzle to solve: Does the government want to shut down 'Project Helios' or does it want to create a bad reputation for McCarthy in order to accumulate stocks at a low price to resell once 'Project Helios' goes public? It's confusing

Liliann: "I don't know really... but this is my advice: I think soon or later 'Project Helios' will become public, whether it succeeds or not, hence you should hold your share and wait. You already said it: 'Buy the rumour, sell the news', what happens next is out of our control, I only can talk about whether it's possible to make money or not with the event"

Mandy: "Thank you for everything Liliann, I will pay you triple for this news"

Mandy leaves Pacheco's Accounting Office
