Due to the economic crisis house owners face the fact the price they've payed for house was to high..Overhere in the Netherlands the thick heads expect the prices will drop with about 25 %.
It means if you payed β¬ 200.000 for the house you live in, it's value has dropped with β¬ 50.000.
And what do the banks do?? They increase the intrest on your loan, undressing you more... Leaving you helpless!

You know, you're absolutely right! I've always said that. Same with gas/fuel prices..... if you don't have to, don't drive. If the whole country did that a couple days a year I think it would make a bit of an impact. π

I did not realize until I read all these posts that the housing thing was so spread out around the world. We have the problem throughout the US. Netherlands, Spain, not sure where everyone is from that posted, but wow. What a shame that it has gotten to this kind of situation.
