I like a lot of your work this one really stood out to me. Maybe because I love the beach. You pick a great time of day to photograph that area, the reflections in the water give it such an awesome feel. Its a shot I have thought of taken myself.

You know, I"m not sure. It's a pretty big tourist trap, why we went in the off season, so I imagine they get their fair share of them, but if too many people were being injured, the tourists would be discouraged from coming.

LOVE the pastel colors! You broke the rule of placing an object in the center of the frame, and it is quite effective! How long did you have to wait for just the right light?

Not long, actually. I got lucky. I took it at dawn, so it was light outside, but the sun hadn't actually come up yet, which would have darkened everything, which is what happened with a lot of the film pictures I took later, after the sun had come up. It was my first trip to the beach, and I wanted to get the sunrise, but most of the better pictures are of the point between night and day, when it's light enough for things to be visible, but the sun isn't over the horizon yet.

I can remember what it said, but I think it was a tide warning. The tide was up so high that it washed my lense cap away and I had to get it and clean it off in the bathroom on the boardwalk. Thank you.
