it is about to be 6am i did not sleep.
ANYWAY
i NEVER POSTED THESE AND IM UPSET ASJFKL ive had these refs sitting in my files for a while lmfao
...whats even more upsetting, is i cant think of any defined headcanons for these two. eheh. they are just queens.........
if i can think of anythign specific for them, i'll update this! my only things are that the old mane six never come back (yknow, starswirl and rockhoof and them, fuck that) they are just dead ADSFJKL

Luna
Female
Age: definitely at least over 200
Known Children: Daydream
Personality: A bit edgy, but mostly reserved. She has a lot of trauma after, I don't know, being trapped on the moon for a few centuries. She has an innate fear of isolation, suffers from constant guilt, and tries very hard to stay out of sight for fear of being hated. But when these thoughts and problems are pushed to the back of her mind, she's a sassy, snappy and bitter princess who means business and is actually very thoughtful and attentive to others. She's never forgotten a guard's name and she'll go out of her way to comfort ponies having nightmares, and even talk to them about their inner troubles if need be.

Powers: Traveling the dreamscape, going into other ponies' dreams and being able to appear in their presence. Kinda like using a dream as a bus, and getting out of the bus stop for a couple minutes to talk to the pony if need be. However, since there are so many dreams and so many ponies, she usually doesn't do this unless she thinks it's necessary.

Female
Age: also definitely at least over 200
Known Children: Serene Grace, Scapolite, mayyybe a third im still iffy lol

Personality: Celestia wasn't always as chill as she is now, since during the Age of Beasts it was often life or death all the time. But now that it's mostly peace times (and has been for the past 100 or so years), she love living lavishly, indulging in her catty gossipy side, and watching the Canterlot elites scramble to appease her for higher positions of power. She loves trying new things, meeting citizens, helping out, and overall being a social butterfly. Of course she takes her job very seriously...but only when need be, she likes being cooky and aloof otherwise. After all, it's no fun being serious all the time!

Powers: Uh... Other than being incredibly powerful in most areas of magic? I-I'll get back to you on that.

Relationship with each other: Luna respects Celestia's decision to banish her to the moon and all, but she's still a little bitter with her. She definitely doesn't think that Celestia will banish her away again, as she obviously regrets doing so in the first place, but seeing the way Celestia has gotten to be so happy and free....even without her...it just makes her a little jealous and upset. And she hates herself for feeling this way, because these are the feelings that got her banished in the first place. So the two of them often have talks and sit downs to counter it, a lot of which end up with wine and drunken prattling that they record and then talk out sober the next day lol. This method of confronting inner problems is fun and useful, and their relationship has benefitted from it greatly.

Celestia is a bit apprehensive to reconnect with her sister at first since she doesn't think she deserves to given the drastic change from an ambitious little foal to a secluded night warden. Then again, Celestia realizes she's always seen Luna as just that: a cute little sister, not her own grown up mare who actually takes teasing and dismissal to heart. Even with this self awareness, finding the balance between trying not to get on Luna's nerves by overtalking and not talking to her at all is very hard for a social alicorn such as herself. Then Celestia reminds herself that this is her sister goddammit, and if she wants to pull her out of bed in the middle of the day to go to Neighagra Falls for a fun day, that's what she'll do! In return, she can pull her in the middle of the night to go...moth watching or whatever Luna likes to do. And dammit, she'll enjoy it.
