GAH! This wig took me a while. I mean, it's Grell, so I wanted it to look right. I wanted to be able to poke people behind me. That's what everyone should want
I had the front pieces that go over his ears clipped forward, and everything else tied back, so it looks kinda funky. It looks way better ON me. Trust me. This is mainly to show off the the spikes which I could've totally done a better job with but it was my first real effort, so...........I'll do better next time.

Oh, it does. My wig looked so bad I just took it off and stuffed it in my bag lol. I was walking around with a blue cat hat on, you probably didn't see me... lol

Kyaaaaa!! I love this wig so much!! The one I have is pretty effed up at the moment... but I don't live anywhere near other cosplayers and it takes two people to detangle it TT^TT

Thank you so much! My best advice is to just set it up on a wig head clamp high enough so that it can hang. Pin the wig to the foam head, and you should be able to do it yourself D:

Just a quick one from a fellow cosplayer debuting their Grell costume this year! How did you get those spikes to stay up like that? If you look on my picture mine dont stick out despite using hairspray and wax on them.
I've pretty much left it as it is and am conving myself I am going for the more manga look rather than the anime, but I am still veeeeery interested in getting another and doing it like this!

D: I can try to sum it up for you? I want to make sure you understand ^^ I used Motions Sheen Oil, which is a pray that's usually found in the ethnic hair supplies if you have them. You want to set up your wig and comb through it, then spray it down. You'd want to spray a little more then you think you'll need (it'll end up looking really greasy, and let it hang dry overnight (the tutorial I read said about 12 hours, but I let mine sit for 24 just to be safe). After it's dry, comb through it and it should be good
When you're wearing it though, it'd be a good idea to stop and comb through it every now and then, because even the best detangler can't keep a long wig from staying perfect forever. It just makes it easier lol.
