Description
She came from some backwater town. She was stunning…Then there was a faint smell of muddy water, and dead fish. Strange, and terrible dreams of underwater cities haunted her…
Then the change began.
The malady ( as I realized it was indeed) began it’s insidious, and characteristic course..
I was horrified…
She… the further she deteriorated, and the more humanity she lost to the damn disease.. the happier she became…
She tells me she dreams of drowning herself, and swimming to the bottom of the ocean.. that there are OTHERS…. I see the strange deformities on others in town….
I’m leaving this town by the first light of day… the sound of lapping water..a surf that cannot possibly be heard this far inland is right outside my window….

Ever see the movie, or read Dagon? Kind of reminds me of that atmospher... damp, muddy... and a smell most foul! I find this very nice to look at. I'm not sure why? It's chilling, yet pretty somehow. I love feeling conflicted!
Anyway... if there is a hell, I think in all your work you are channeling different levels of it. Every series you do has a new element to it that makes you feel uncomfortable and almost strained if you try to imagine what it would be like in there.... It's as though I keep opening doors as I walk down a cold dark hall and see these visons before me.
I better start my prayers.

Dagon was one of the first Lovecraft stories i read as a kid in Junior High... 20 years ago now?... it's vastly different from the movie ( which i did see, and loved.. except certain parts...hint/ i hate fire scenes..)...anyhow, yeah, the whole movie was based on Lovecraft's town of Innsmouth ( the movie was actually based more on "the Shadows Over Innsmouth" )and the people who worship dagon, and slowly transform into degenerate fish-things....
and 
and as for the hell comment...let's just say that well... that whole not liking fire.... maybe i'm exorcising things so when i finally shuffle off this mortal coil, i won't see these images in my head, and end up in a very scary place...
